I read an interesting article today in Bloomberg about housing starts.link here  Any news about housing catches my eye.  The article noted that housing starts are at the lowest levels ever recorded.  This is in response to an over supply and lack of demand.  The new administration is noted saying that they are going to increase funding ($100 billion)to free up a frozen mortgage market. 

Let's hope this lull in starts will help clear up the surplus of new homes and lead to an increase in demand.
